STEP #2: Check Your Credit Score
Find out your credit score, and work to improve it by cutting down debt and spending.
STEP #3: Know Your Numbers
Get a pre-approval letter from your bank or lender professional
STEP #4: Go House Hunting!
Tour with your agent to explore neighborhoods and home types, and determine your must-haves. Repeat until you find the one! Take your search on the go, with my mobile app!
STEP #5: Craft a Winning Offer
Meet with your REALTOR, to draft your offer and negotiate with the seller
STEP #6: Inspection & Appraisal Period
Rely on expertise from your home pros to determine the value and condition of the home. This often opens up another period of negotiations between buyer and seller, as items related to these inspections are discovered.
STEP #7: Transfer Utilities & Attend Closing
Congrats! You made it! Now, lets tie up all the loose ends... Once you receive a “Clear to Close” notice from your lender and title company, you’ll want to contact the utility providers in your area, and arrange for services to be transferred to your new home by your move-in date.
